WHAT IS A CARPENTER ANT?

DO YOU KNOW THAT…

Carpenter ants rarely sting, as most of these ants are not aggressive. However, these are known to cause damage to wooden structures, which makes its presence particularly harmful.

SIGN OF A CARPENTER ANT INFESTATION

The only visible sign of a carpenter ant infestation is the appearance of small openings on the surface of the wood. Through these holes, ants expel debris, such as sawdust shavings and/or insulation fragments. The accumulation of this debris under the holes is a good indicator of an active infestation.
